Strata Repaint — Toowong Garden Complex
A 28-townhouse gated complex just off Sherwood Road in Toowong engaged Tier 1 Painting for a complete exterior refresh. The body corporate wanted a consistent colour scheme across all 28 dwellings and a single point of accountability for the entire project.
The Challenge
Every townhouse was individually owned and lived in. Owner preferences on trim colour varied and needed to be resolved before painting could start. The complex sits at the base of Mount Coot-tha and receives heavy morning shade and afternoon UV, meaning the paint system had to handle both damp and heat.
Our Solution
We held a single owners-meeting Q&A session with three approved colour palettes, secured a majority decision on scheme and trim, and rolled out a two-townhouses-per-week schedule. Full prep on every unit: pressure clean, gutter clear, timber trim scrape, prime bare surfaces, caulk and sand. Dulux Weathershield in two coats to walls, Dulux Aquanamel to trim and garage doors.
The Result
All 28 townhouses completed in 5 weeks with zero owner disputes and 100 percent scheduling adherence. The consistent colour scheme has been noted by the sales agent as a factor in three subsequent above-appraisal sales inside the complex.
